A Souls Kiss by Debra Chapoton ~ Book Review

This is my book pick for the month of March and I have to admit this was a refreshing tale to read. I was pleasantly surprised.

"When a tragic accident leaves Jessica comatose, her spirit escapes her body. Navigating a supernatural realm is tough, but being half dead has its advantages. Like getting into people’s thoughts. Like taking over someone’s body. Like experiencing romance on a whole new plane - literally. Jessica learns an amazing truth as she struggles to return to her body before the doctors pull the plug, only she can’t do it alone. Now the only two people willing to help Jessica’s splintered soul are the two she’s hurt the most. They must find a way to guide her soul back to her body . . . before it’s too late."

This is a cute story from many points of view, giving us an opportunity to dive inside the minds of all characters involved. It has an interesting twist on the world of mediums and what happens to our souls when they don't quite cross over. As Jessica navigates through this parallel world, I found myself both cheering for her while wanting to strangle her at the same time. Tyler stole my heart and quickly became a favorite from the beginning. Hannah is the one we love to hate, and Michael, well there are no words.

The characters were well developed and it was easy to follow from one character to the next, even with the changing POV's. I enjoyed the way Debra pulled the story together, and I think you will too.

Join the world of the paranormal and take a ride you won't soon forget.
